The air conditioner in our classroom is broken and we were all really hot so we decided to go read a story in the shade of the trees behind our classroom. We all sat down on Mrs Nichol's picnic blanket and then someone saw that the tree behind us was covered with cicada shells so we went exploring to see how many we could find. Along the way someone found a dead mouse. Ew! Mrs Nichol made sure we stayed away from it. Mr Want is going to take it away.
That was an exciting story time!
